It Began in a Home Kitchen
Rose Hill Cakes started in 2013 in a home kitchen in Sanford, Florida. It all began with a spark of inspiration from watching Carlo's Bakery on TV — what started as a fascination with the artistry of cake design soon turned into baking for family and friends. That hobby quickly grew into something bigger, as word spread about cakes that were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious to eat.
More than a decade later, we're still a home bakery at heart — and that's exactly the way we like it. It means every cake gets personal attention, and no two are ever quite the same.
Cakes Made the Way They Should Be
From the very beginning, our philosophy has been simple: never settle for bland. We bake everything fresh, using quality ingredients and a lot of care, with designs that range from classic and traditional to bold and modern. We're proud to offer eggless options too, so more families and guests can enjoy a slice.

The Weddings We'll Never Forget
Wedding cakes hold a special place in our story. There's nothing quite like sitting down with a couple, hearing their vision, and turning it into a centerpiece for one of the biggest days of their lives. From elegant tiered designs with sugar flowers and gold leaf to vibrant cakes for South Asian and multicultural celebrations, we've been honored to be part of so many love stories — with 85+ five-star reviews on WeddingWire and The Knot to show for it.
One creation we're especially proud of was a three-tier standing hexagon cake — that also had to rotate. Pulling it off meant carefully balancing weight distribution, structural design, and temperature all at once. It remains one of the most challenging and ambitious cakes we've ever made, and watching it all come together was incredibly rewarding.
From Cakes to Cookies (and Beyond)
As our little bakery grew, so did what we offer. Today, alongside custom cakes, we're known for our giant stuffed cookies — fan favorites like Biscoff, Pistachio Cream, and Red Velvet — which we ship across the country.
